When we met

This is an art piece I did of one of the leaders in the Stray-city (Or is it stray-dog? one or the other) Group. This is my character Merrow, and the leader Kyoto. I will now explain the story.

I was only only a year old, Still a puppy. Though I was now a teenager of sorts I still had many years ahead to mature, my pack had become so starved of what is and reality, they turned on there own leader. My mother, and my father myself included strayed from the domain of the pack, we traveled along roads of many sorts, through small towns, but no matter were we went. Each time we were shooed away by all those that felt disgusting by our presence. Before long, the venture became to much for my mother who had grown ill, starved, and her mind became scattered. No matter what we tried hunting was out of the option, we were in no place for it, and I couldn't stray away from both of my parents. Atleast that is what I had closed myself around. My father collapsed, to much to bare on his old shoulders with the stress, hunger, and the bare of loosing his mate was to much. My mother, was to weak and could not stand the path they tread, escaping from one problem just to put ourselves in another. Mother passed away after finding a small den fit for 2 father and mother layed in the den over night and I sat guard. Come morning both of my parents had passed away. Devastate I wasn't sure what to do nor were to go. Unlike my mother and my father, I wasn't as thin, I kept bulk and was able to hunt. It was a week after there passing I left the den, to many creatures of many kinds had gathered, stalking around the grounds I had marked temporarily, I was not able to fight them off, no matter. I left, Running my tail between my legs as the struck the ground. I came to a sudden halt panting. A female was infront of him, he bared no mind and attempted to pass yet she came to step infront. "What do you think your trying to do kid?" She muttered the bandana around her neck a dual red. "Who are you calling kid? Who are you anyway?" I spat in irritation. She let out a swift [Hmph] "I am kyoto and this my territory I am the leader here and I don't remember granting you passage." Kyoto's words drown out any sound other then her own drifting into My ears. "Leader.." I spoke tone suddenly drained as if he was exhausted.  "A leader.. huh. You lead a stray dog pack then?" I would question curious.
When suddenly a loud cry broke from behind kyoto and the puppy, and all stood to a halt...
